My Story

My journey began in South Africa, where I earned my B.Sc. in Physiology and Psychology, followed by an Honours degree in Psychology. Soon after, I completed a course in psychometric testing while working with university students. Driven by a passion for guiding others, I then worked in Korea, developing my skills with diverse student groups. Upon immigrating to Australia, I completed a Graduate Certificate in Career Development, becoming a CDAA-registered practitioner. ​
My mission is to help students, school leavers, and professionals discover fulfilling career paths through psychometric testing, personalized career guidance, and resume services. With a strong background in psychology and career counselling, I empower individuals to make informed career choices.​

How we Work
 
At MH Careers, we are committed to providing tailored career guidance to suit your unique needs. Our process is flexible, ensuring that each client receives the right support at every step of their career journey. Here’s how we’ll work together:

1. Initial Free Consultation
Your journey begins with a free 15-minute consultation. During this session, we’ll discuss your career goals, strengths, and challenges. This conversation helps us understand your needs and recommend the best services for you, whether it’s career counseling, psychometric testing, resume optimization, or a combination of these.

2. Intake Interview (If Applicable)
For clients opting for psychometric testing, an intake interview is the next step. This session allows us to dive deeper into your career aspirations, discuss the purpose of the assessments, and prepare you for the testing process. It’s an opportunity to ensure that the selected assessments align with your career goals.

3. Assessments and Evaluation (Optional)
If psychometric testing is part of your personalized plan, we’ll confirm a date and time for the assessments. The process typically takes 4 to 5 hours, and the results will provide valuable insights into your strengths, personality, and aptitudes. These insights form the foundation for tailored career guidance.

4. Career Consultations
For clients pursuing career counseling, we’ll schedule personalized sessions to explore career options, discuss challenges, and create actionable plans. If you’ve completed psychometric testing, your results will guide these discussions. Each session is designed to provide clarity and confidence in your career decisions.

5. Resume Optimization (Optional)
Our Resume Optimization Package is available to all clients, whether or not they’ve completed other services. This standalone package includes expertly crafted templates, personalized coaching, and reviews to help you create a professional, impactful resume that stands out to employers.

6. Feedback and Reporting (For Psychometric Testing)
If you’ve completed psychometric testing, I’ll assess and interpret your results to compile a formal report. This report includes detailed definitions, interpretations, and actionable recommendations. We’ll also schedule an online feedback session to review the findings and answer any questions.
